The Disney movie "Aladdin" is rescheduled for Friday, Aug. 7, at Tie Breaker Park.

Local officials hope to revive Hoptown Hose Down on Aug. 10 at DeBow Recreational Complex, pending expiration of the statewide mask mandate.

Park employees will facilitate the mobile spray parks and will ensure social distancing for health and safety.

The event will observe social distancing at the start line and during other correlating activities. A virtual race option also is available and allows participants to run 13.1 or 3.1 miles on their own time and at their own location, while still receiving a race bib, shirt and medal.

The temperature will deep below the freezing mark early Wednesday morning.

Vendors who were signed up for the festival will receive a fund, organizers said.

Travel concerns related to the coronavirus caused the postponement.
