Arts camp set for June 7-11 at Alhambra

The camp is for children ages 7 to 12.

The Pennyroyal Arts Council is offering a visual arts camp from 9 a.m. to noon June 7 through 11 at the Alhambra Theatre, 507 S. Main St., for children ages 7 to 12.

The camp will be limited to 25 participants, and registration can be completed online. The cost is $150, which includes supplies.

Paula Gieseke, an art teacher for Christian County Public Schools, will lead the camp with a focus on recycling and animals.

“Campers will study different techniques and work with a variety of arts, styles and medium. Come get messy, have some fun and be creative with us this summer!” the arts council announced.

Additional information is available from Molly Campbell, education coordinator for the arts council, at 270-887-4295.
