Squealin’ on the Square set for June 4

Up to 10 barbecue teams will compete for cash prizes.

The third annual Squealin’ on the Square barbecue competition is set for Friday, June 4, at Founders Square. 

Up to 10 teams will compete for cash prizes in best chicken, pork ribs and pork chops. A crowd favorite also will be named. 

Anyone interested in competing should check out the rules and application online. Hopkinsville Parks and Recreation sponsors the event, and additional information is available from Toby Hudson at 270-887-4290. 

The public will be able to purchase samples beginning at 6 p.m.
