A new travel order still bans anyone with a positive or preemptively positive case of COVID-19 from entering Kentucky, unless ordered for medical treatment.

The health department is offering to provide transportation for anyone who cannot provide their own to the testing site at Tie Breaker Park.

The governor said the pandemic is "still pretty stable," despite reporting 625 new cases, including 309 from a state prison in Muhlenberg County.

Hopkinsville Parks and Recreation also announced the Summer Adventure Camp, an eight-week program, has been canceled for the first time in 35 years. But plans are being made for some alternative programs for children and adults.

At least 1,892 people in Kentucky have recovered from COVID-19.

Testing is important, the governor stressed, because many people who are asymptomatic do have the virus and can spread it to others.
