Quarry Street will be named for the longtime pastor of First Street Missionary Baptist Church.

A limited number of tickets are available for the gala on April 27 at the Pioneer Complex..

The program starts at 6:30 p.m. March 28 at Hopkinsville Brewing Co.

The public is invited to the ceremony Sunday, March 24, at The Performing Arts Center.

Organized by the Christian County Master Gardeners, the expo will feature 30 vendors and several free seminars on gardening and outdoor living.

The event will benefit the organization whose volunteer serve as court advocates for local children.

Several activities are planned downtown on March 22 and 23.

The meeting will be March 2 at the Hopkinsville-Christian County Public Library.

The public is invited to the Round Table Reading Series Lecture.

The stories come from newspaper biographies written by a former Hopkinsville mayor in 1934.

The campaign total will be announced, and awards will be presented at the Feb. 20 finale.

Hopkinsville Community College English professor Elizabeth Burton will teach the workshop, using artifacts as inspiration.
