Feeling bah humbug about Christmas cooking? Here are some local restaurants to the rescue

Some restaurants have a deadline to order the weekend before Christmas, so don't wait too long to contact them.

If 2020 has been too much to handle because of the pandemic, and home cooks would rather rest than prepare meals for Christmas, there are options from some of Hopkinsville’s independent restaurants.

Here’s a run-down of what some are offering:

Jennie’s Place, 104 E. Sixth St.

Appetizers: jalapeño popper cheeseball with crackers; meat and cheese tray; Kentucky ham biscuit tray; buffalo chicken dip.

Roasted turkey with gravy or Kentucky legends ham entrees, plus several side dishes.
