Milling and paving of several streets will begin Monday, according to a press release from Dave Herndon, street superintendent for Hopkinsville Public Works.
The streets are:
- Cherry Street
- Phelps Avenue
- Stewart Street
- Seventh Street (portions maintained by the city)
- Carla Drive
- Radford Street
“Operations will run weather permitting and until complete,” Herndon said in the release. “Motorists are encouraged to use caution and be alert for construction equipment. We apologize for any inconvenience. Also, if you are a resident or business owner in the area and use on-street parking, please move your car to accommodate equipment.”
