Prior to her promotion, Rogers was the office and business manager for the tourism agency located at Visit Hopkinsville, 1730 E. Ninth St.

Rogers grew up in Cadiz and graduated from Trigg County High School in 1990. She earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration after attending the University of Kentucky, Lexington Community College and Sullivan University.

Rogers’ salary as executive director is $50,000, Tomaszewski told Hoptown Chronicle.
