As protests continue every Saturday morning in downtown Murray, one woman faces a misdemeanor charge that has lingered for months while the pandemic delays court hearings.
Democratic Rep. Attica Scott’s bill to ban no-knock warrants, Breonna’s Law for Kentucky, will get its first hearing in the House Judiciary Committee this week.
The bill is sponsored by Senate President Robert Stivers, a Republican from Manchester, who said that Breonna Taylor was killed after “a series of bad police judgments.”
