Students have been out of school since March 16. They learned Monday they aren't returning to the classroom this academic year.

Among the county's confirmed cases, 47 people have recovered from COVID-19.

The city has two drive-thru test sites. One is at Express Lab on Eagle Way bypass. The other, run by the health department, is at Tie Breaker Park.

Residents and employees of 53 Kentucky nursing homes have tested positive for COVID-19. Hopkins is the only county adjoining Christian County that has reported cases.

Local officials also urged residents to complete their 2020 Census form.

During city council's Tuesday meeting, officials discussed how the coronavirus pandemic could affect revenue in the 2020-21 budget.

Statewide six deaths were reported, pushing the total in Kentucky to 154.

Statewide, 206 newly confirmed cases of the respiratory disease were reported Saturday.

Data from the tech company show a sharp increase in social distancing in Christian County during the week of March 15.

Tests through the health department will be administered weekdays at Tie Breaker Park. Jennie Stuart is also testing at its Express Lab.

Slightly more than half of Christian County's confirmed cases are from Western State Hospital.
