During the Unity Breakfast, awards were also presented to Jennie Stuart Medical Center, the Salvation Army and the Christian County Health Department for the work during the coronavirus pandemic.
The $10 million grant, from a state program earmarked for vocational school facilities, will go toward construction of the district's consolidated high school.
