Registration open for Pennyroyal Arts Council’s mural art camp

The camp for students is fifth through 12th grade will run during fall break, Oct. 6 to 10 in downtown Hopkinsville.

Registration is open for the Pennyroyal Arts Council’s mural art camp, which runs from 9 a.m. to noon during fall break, Oct. 6 to 10, in downtown Hopkinsville.

The cost is $100, and space is limited to 12 participants, in fifth through 12th grade, who will create a mural celebrating local history.

“Led by art educator Paula Gieseke, this hands-on program will walk participants through the exciting process of mural-making, from initial design to the final brushstrokes,” organizers said in a press release. “Campers will work together to create a vibrant, permanent mural on the wall of a downtown business — a lasting contribution to Hopkinsville’s growing public art scene.”

Registration can be completed online
