Landlords, tenants and community leaders are slated to speak during the forum at 5 p.m. Monday.

The reception is for the outgoing police chief, deputy police chief, city clerk, chief financial officer, and parks and recreation superintendent.

Ahead of the November general election, the board will consider eliminating a few polling places that had some of the lowest numbers in the last two elections.

Farmer is taking over a program that faces several changes following funding cuts and the abrupt resignation of Idalia Luna, who became executive director in December 2019.
