The golden era of American country music will be featured in a live concert Saturday, March 1, at the Alhambra Theatre.

The performance called Nashville Legacy — featuring pianist Jason Coleman and guitarist Meagan Taylor — is the fifth show in the Pennyroyal Arts Council’s Live at the Alhambra series. Tickets, available online, are $50.

“Nashville Legacy is more than just a concert — it is a heartfelt tribute to the legendary sound that defined an era of American music,” an arts council spokeswoman said in a press release. “Jason Coleman, grandson of the iconic pianist Floyd Cramer, and Meagan Taylor, great-niece of guitar virtuoso Chet Atkins, bring the timeless Nashville Sound to life through their stunning performances.

“Audiences will be transported back to country music’s golden era as they experience the signature styles of Cramer and Atkins, whose pioneering contributions shaped the careers of countless artists and earned them places in both the Country Music Hall of Fame and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.”

The show will also feature personal stories, historic photos and archival video footage offering “an intimate glimpse into the lives of two of country music’s most influential figures.”

The show begins at 7 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m.
