Jazz on Stage is returning to Alhambra Theatre

Tickets are available for the shows on Oct. 24, Nov. 21 and Feb. 23.

The Pennyroyal Arts Council is selling tickets for its second series of Jazz on Stage, beginning with “The First Time Ever I Heard Your Voice” celebrating the music of Roberta Flack and Al Jarreau on Thursday, Oct. 24, at the Alhambra Theatre. It will feature Clint Holmes, Niki Harris, Keith Ganz and the Christian Tamburr Trio.

Jazz on Stage means exactly what it says — the audience joins the musicians on stage for a setting that feels like a nightclub. Tickets are $35 for general seating and $50 for table seating.

There are two shows on Oct. 24. The first performance at 6 p.m. has sold out but the second show at 8 p.m. still has plenty of tickets available.

The next shows are at 6 and 8 p.m. on Nov. 21 for “In the Still of the Night,” a performance of Cole Porters songs.

The final Jazz on Stage shows will be at 3 and 6 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 23, for “Chamber Soul, Jazz & Blues,” a performance of the best of Roberta Flack and Stevie Wonder.

Each performance of Jazz on Stage is an hour long. More information about the shows and tickets is available here
