Hopkinsville Rotary Club postpones annual auction until Sept. 14

The auction raises money for college scholarships.

The Hopkinsville Rotary Club has postponed its annual Rotary Auction until Sept. 14, according to a Facebook event update posted Monday morning.

The postponement is one among many local events that will likely change in the coming weeks because of the coronavirus pandemic. The auction was originally scheduled for mid-April.

The weeklong Rotary Auction has been held annually since 1950 to raise money for college scholarships.

Hopkinsville’s Rotary Club is celebrating its centennial this year.
