History on Tap: Ghosts of Christmas Past, a look at old holiday traditions and stories, will be presented at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 10, at Hopkinsville Brewing Co. It is a free program provided by the Museums of Historic Hopkinsville-Christian County.
“Join museum staff as we examine the origins of Santa Claus, explore how the community observed Christmas traditions throughout the decades, and take a look back through the years to see what popular gifts were on everyone’s lists,” Alissa Keller, the museum’s executive director, said in a press release. “You might even see a “Letter to Santa” from someone you know as we highlight some of those letters that were published in the Kentucky New Era throughout the 1980s.”
