Dinner and silent auction will benefit Jeffers Bend

The meal includes grilled pork chops and dessert.

Tickets are still available for the Benefit for the Bend dinner from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, June 19, at the Christian County Extension Service on Pembroke Road.

The dinner benefits the Jeffers Bend Environmental Center.

Tickets are $30 for the meal, including grilled pork chops, sides and homemade desserts. Reservations must be made by Thursday afternoon, an organizer said, by calling 270-885-5600 or 270-885-1425.

There will also be a silent auction for several items, including large grills, patio furniture, mountain bicycles and fishing gear.
