Community collaborates to memorialize local notables

Murals have made their mark on Hopkinsville in recent years, beautifying areas around the city while chronicling its history.

When local photographer and artist Cat Lacy saw a slab of concerte encasing a ramp that led up to the Pennyroyal Area Museum, she saw potential — not just to beautify the community, but to bring it together.

Several residents answered the call to lend a hand in the effort to memorialize local notables during a celebration of Christian County native and internationally renowned clairvoyant Edgard Cayce.
