TheWannaBeatles will have a concert at 7 p.m. Saturday, June 8, at the Alhambra Theatre.
The Nashville-based Beatles tribute band says it “combines great Beatles classics with hilarious on-stage antics, audience involvement and award-winning entertainment.”
Tickets, available online, are $50 for adults and $38 for students and members of the military.
The concert is the last show in the Pennyroyal Arts Council’s 2023-24 Live at the Alhambra series.
The lineup for the next live series will be announced during TheWannaBeatles concert, said Margaret Prim, executive director of the arts council.
Season ticket holders and show sponsors provide the revenue to keep the historic Alhambra Theatre running. In addition to the live series, the Alhambra hosts arts and cultural events throughout the year for students and local organizations, such as Campanile’s community theater shows and “The Nutcracker” performance by Brooke Bailey’s dance students.
“Having a good season ticket-holder base is so important to everything we do,” said Prim.
The arts council hopes it can increase season ticket sales to ensure the future of the downtown venue, she said.
Earlier this week, the arts council staff celebrated the Alhambra’s 96th birthday.
