A portion of Western Kentucky, including Christian, Trigg and Caldwell counties, is under a dense fog advisory from 6 p.m. Wednesday though noon Thursday.
The advisory from the National Weather Service warns that visibility will be reduced to one-quarter mile in some areas. The foggy conditions will be a concern for drivers on the Thursday morning commute to work.
Drivers should “slow down, use your headlights and leave plenty of distance ahead of you,” the advisory says.
High-beam lights should never be used in fog. The NWS provides additional tips for drivers.
