County’s coronavirus total increases to 178 with 11 newly confirmed cases over the weekend

As of Monday, there were 41 people in the county with active coronavirus and 134 people who had recovered.

The number of local coronavirus cases increased to 178, with 11 newly confirmed cases between Friday and Monday, according to a report from the Christian County Health Department.

The total includes 41 active cases, 134 recovered and the three deaths that were reported in early April.

The number of confirmed, active cases by age group are:

  • Pediatric (0-21): 6
  • Young Adult-Middle Age (22-59): 25
  • Older Adult (60-84): 10
  • Elderly (85+): 0
