Christian County health officials report 1 newly confirmed COVID-19 case

There were no new cases reported Thursday, following an increase of six cases on Wednesday.

The Christian County Health Department on Friday reported one newly confirmed case of COVID-19, bringing the county’s total to 167.

There were no new cases reported Thursday, following an increase of six cases on Wednesday.

The number of active cases by age group are:

  • Pediatric (0-21): 3
  • Young Adult-Middle Age (22-59): 26
  • Older Adult (60-84): 8
  • Elderly (85+): 0

The racial breakdown of people who have tested positive for COVID-19 in Christian County is: 123, white; 43, black; and one, Asian.

Kentucky reported 258 new cases of coronavirus Friday, the sixth day out of the last seven that the number has risen.
