The United Way of the Pennyrile is inviting community members to its 2024-25 campaign celebration and awards presentation at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 25, at the James E. Bruce Convention Center, 303 Conference Center Drive.
Melanie Noffsinger, who took over as executive director of the agency in October when Betsy Bond retired, said the celebration will include an announcement of the total raised and recognition for individuals and organizations who helped in the effort.
The campaign theme is Shining Like the Stars, and the goal is $700,000.
The United Way of the Pennyrile provides financial support to 18 agencies in Christian Todd and Trigg counties.
