Three new cases Saturday pushed the week's total to 13.

The state had 141 newly confirmed cases and five deaths Friday, the governor announced.

The museum is closed because of coronavirus restrictions, but the staff has prepared packets that camp participants will pick up each week to complement the virtual portion of the camp and optional field trips.

Every person who bought a Date Night To-Go package, placed an online order or knocked on the taproom door for carry-out has had a hand in keeping the business afloat, the brewery's founder says.

The state reported 135 new cases and 10 deaths.

The summer reading program has new online tools to track progress. It runs May 26 through July 11 for readers of all ages.

The camp for children ages 7 to 12 will focus on recycling. The instructor is Christian County High School art teacher Paula GIeske.

The total includes 13 people who had an active case of the coronavirus as of Wednesday.

The governor also stressed the importance of wearing masks as the state reopens its economy, and encouraged Kentuckians to share social-media posts about why they wear masks and to talk to others about it.

Race, as much as party affiliation, figured into the council's split vote. Opponents said the council should not adopt the ordinance during the coronavirus crisis while meetings are being conducted by teleconference and members of the public are limited in their ability to give council feedback.

Statewide, 443 people were hospitalized, and 20 deaths were reported, the most in a single day since the start of the coroanvirus outbreak.

Kentucky had 260 news cases combined on Sunday and Monday, and 12 deaths.
