The spelling bee will be Sept. 27 at the Alhambra Theatre.

The Hopkinsville-Christian County Public Library was among the Kentucky libraries that received funding to make mobile hotspots available to patrons.

The event is set for 7:30 a.m. Sept. 22 at the Christian County Senior Center.

Brockman is the third city of Hopkinsville department head to receive the top KLC award in the past eight years.
