This Halloween in Hopkinsville, there's something for young people, older folks and even your dog.

The Mixer restaurant and Hopkinsville Brewing Co. are collaborating for the Nov. 10 event.

Fish plates and sandwiches will be available for pre-order on Oct. 27.

The Nashville Opera is bringing the "One Vote Won" — a work that was commissioned in observance of the centennial of the 19th Amendment to the US Constitution — to Hopkinsville.

The Commission on Racial Healing for the Episcopal Diocese of Kentucky is sponsoring the service Saturday, Oct. 15, at Grace Episcopal Church.

The event on Saturday, Oct. 15, will also have pork chop sandwiches served by Hopkinsville Junior Auxiliary.

Events with Bell Witch storytellers are planned at Jeffers Bend and St. Elmo.

Children are invited to collect treats between 3:30 and 5:30 p.m. on Oct. 31.

Prizes will be awarded at the library's fall festival on Oct. 28 for scariest, funniest, most creative and cutest pumpkins.

The dedication ceremony is Saturday at the Rochester Dam on the Green River.

The evening parade through downtown Hopkinsville will be Saturday, Dec. 10.

Visit Hopkinsville will give a presentation at the Oct. 5 lunch meeting at the sportsplex.
