Awards for Farmer of the Year, Ag Business of the Year and Friend of Agriculture will be presented at the 2021 Salute to Agriculture Breakfast at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 10, at the James E. Bruce Convention Center.
State Agriculture Commissioner Ryan Quarles, often mentioned as a likely Republican candidate for governor in 2023, will be the keynote speaker. He’ll address “trends, issues and successes pertaining to agriculture,” organizers said.
The annual Salute to Agriculture is sponsored by the Christian County Agri-Business Association and the Christian County Chamber of Commerce.
Tickets for the breakfast are available online.
