William Robert “Bill” Dorris III, 84, of Hopkinsville, KY died at 12:37 a.m. Wednesday, September 1, 2021. Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, September 4, 2021at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dan Huck officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour at the church. Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. A native of Hopkinsville, KY he was born March 29, 1937 the son of the late William Robert Dorris, Jr. and Joyce Eleanor Kennett Dorris. He was a retired Healthcare Administrator at Western State Hospital and a longtime member of First United Methodist Church.
