William “Bill” Henry Lapeer, Jr., 74, of Hopkinsville, died Thursday, Aug. 11 at his home of natural causes. A Michigan native, Lapeer enlisted in the U.S. Army after high school and, later, the National Guard. After retiring as Master Sergeant of the Signal Corp, he moved to Florida and finally retired to Hopkinsville in 2010.
