William “Bill” Boyd Gibson Charles, 80, of Crofton, died at 9:02 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 28, at Bradford Heights Nursing & Rehab Center in Hopkinsville. A native of Williamsburg, Kentucky, Charles worked millwright for General Steel and served 12 years in the U.S. Army. Funeral services will be held at noon Friday, Sept. 30, at Grace Life Church, 470 East Princeton St., Crofton, with Pastor Kris Page officiating. Burial will follow in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. Friday until the funeral hour at the church.
