Walter Lee “Blue” Bacon, 88, died on Saturday, Jan. 11, at his home. He was employed at Mobile Feed Services and Federal Chemical. He spent the last 18 years of employment at Hopkinsville Elevator. After retiring, he spent time on his farm, raising livestock. He was a member of Little River Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at noon Monday, Jan. 20, at Gamble Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Double Barn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the service hour Monday at the funeral home.
