Virginia Boyd Shanklin Howard, 76, of Elkton, died Oct. 12 following a brief illness. She was retired after teaching math at Todd County Central High School and Hopkinsville Community College. She was a member of Petrie Memorial Methodist Church and the Todd County Retired Teachers’ Association. The family will have a private graveside service.
