Susan Hancock, 75, of Herndon, died at 6:09 a.m. Saturday, April 13, at her residence. A native of Herndon, she was retired from Holiday Elementary School, where she worked in the cafeteria. She was a member of the old Sharon Presbyterian Church and attended Little River Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 16, at Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Flat Lick Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the service hour Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
