Shirley Scott Farmer, 87, of Greenville Road in Hopkinsville, died on Wednesday, May 15, at her home. A native of Trigg County, Kentucky, she was a teacher’s aide at Lacy Elementary for 25 years and a member of Fruit Hill Baptist Church. She was a pianist for the Scott Quartet for 48 years. She also was a pianist for more than 30 years at both New Barren Springs Baptist Church and Fruit Hill Baptist Church.  Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 19, at Lamb Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Flat Lick Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, May 18, at the funeral home.
