Roger E. Jeffers, 90, of Hopkinsville, died at 8:51 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, at his residence. Born in Onieda, Tennessee, he was a graduate of the University of Wyoming and was the former partner and manager of Hopkinsville Broadcasting Co. (WHOP). He was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of First Christian Church. Private services will be at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West. Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
