Nannie Mary Mimms, 88, a lifelong resident of Hopkinsville and Christian County, died on Friday, March 28 at Jennie Stuart Medical Center. A 1955 graduate of Attucks High School, she retired from the Christian County Sheriff’s Department and was a member of Pleasant Green CME Church, which is now inactive. Funeral services will be at noon on Saturday, April 5, at Freeman Chapel CME Church. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the service hour Saturday at the church. Gamble Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
