Marvin Lloyd Chewning, 77, of Hopkinsville, died on Sunday, Jan. 26, at Vanderbilt Wilson County Hospital in Lebanon, Tennessee. He was a U.S. Army veteran, having served during the Vietnam War. He retired from the Christian County Sheriff’s Department as a deputy. There will be no services. Interment will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West in Hopkinsville. Goodwin Funeral Home of Cadiz is in charge of arrangements.
