Martez Nelson, 45, of Hopkinsville, died on Sunday, Dec. 22, in Christian County. A member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church, he was employed as a janitor with Quality Cleaning. He also was a part of the Durrett Avenue Neighborhood Association and volunteered at Challenge House. Funeral services will be at noon on Friday, Jan. 3, at Gamble Funeral Home. Visitation is from 10 a.m. until until the service hour Friday at the funeral home.
