Marlena Deason, 83, of Clarksville, Tennessee, and formerly of Hopkinsville, died on July 9 at Signature Healthcare in Clarksville of natural causes. Born in Bloomington Normal, Illinois, she was retired as a dispatcher for King Livestock, where she worked for 52 years. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, July 21, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with burial to follow in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, July 20, at the funeral home and again from noon until the funeral hour on July 21.
