Margaret Crim Riley, 96, of Lexington, and formerly of Hopkinsville, died on Thursday, July 20. A native of Turners Station, Kentucky, she earned a bachelor’s degree from Baldwin Wallace College, Berea, Ohio, and a master’s degree from Western Kentucky University. She was the coordinator of community relations and the medical librarian at Western State Hospital in Hopkinsville. Her husband, Dr. Thomas Riley, the first president of Hopkinsville Community College, and a son, David L. Riley, a Kentucky New Era editor, proceeded her in death. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. (Eastern time) Thursday, July 27, at Milward Funeral Home, 159 N. Broadway, Lexington. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
