Lynn Ray Rogers, 80, of Hopkinsville, died on Monday, Oct. 7, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center following a long illness. A native of Maryville, Tennessee, he was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of Pleasant Green Baptist Church. He retired as a factory worker, having been employed by Phelps Dodge, TRANE and Grupo Antolin. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 15, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West with full military honors. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the service hour Tuesday at the funeral home.
