Loyd C. Compton, 99, Russellville Road, Hopkinsville, KY passed away Thursday, September 23, 2021 at Western State Nursing Facility, Hopkinsville, KY of natural causes. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, September 27, 2021 at Green Hill Memorial Gardens with Ellis Stallons officiating. Lamb Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements. A native of Trigg County, KY, he was born May 6, 1922, the son of the late Walter S. Compton and the late Nellie Mae (Sumner) Compton.
