Laura Bell Russell Hester, 77, of Pembroke, died on Saturday, Feb. 8. A member of the Class of 1965 at Attucks High School, she was a member of Saint Bethlehem Baptist Church in Pembroke and served faithfully as an usher, a district usher and Circle Five Missionary Group. Funeral services were on Saturday, Feb. 15 at Saint Bethlehem Baptist Church. Adams & Sons Mortuary was in charge of the arrangements.
