Kimberly Beth Zarley, 67, of Des Moines, Iowa, and formerly of Hopkinsville, died Monday, May 8, from a recurrence of kidney cancer. A native of Des Moines, she was a graphic art designer prior to enrolling in seminary at Brite Divinity School in Ft. Worth and then graduating with two master’s degrees from Iliff School of Theology in Denver. She was ordained and called to serve as the associate pastor at First Christian Church in Hopkinsville in February 2018. She also served as transitional pastor at First Christian Church in Ash Grove, Missouri, and senior minister at First Christian Church in Neosho, Missouri. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, May 15, at Lutheran Church of Hope in West Des Moines. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the funeral hour.
