Joseph John “Joe” Schramm Jr., 82, of Gracey, died at 11:45 a.m. Monday, July 20, at Deaconess Henderson Hospital. A native of Hackensack, New Jersey, he retired from the Florida National Guard and served active duty when his unit was called into service in 1963. Joe also was a retired Deputy Sheriff from Pasco County, Florida. He was a member of Northwest Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, July 27, at Northwest Baptist Church. Burial with military honors will follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, July 26, at Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home.
