Josanna Robertson Greenwood Simpson, 63, of Hopkinsvill, died on Friday, May 8, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center. She was a graduate of Christian County High School in 1980 and the University of Kentucky in 1984. She was a member of Alpha Gamma Delta sorority. She worked at University Heights Academy where her children, Jake, Gavin and Alex attended. Later in life, she returned to school and became a registered nurse. She worked at several hospitals, including Jennie Stuart and ended her career with private nursing. She was a lifelong member of Liberty Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 13, at Hughart Beard Giles Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the service hour Wednesday at the funeral home. Donations in Josanna’s name may be made to Liberty Christian Church, Max’s Hope or the Christian County Animal Shelter.
