John Lawrence Render, 73, of Hopkinsville, died Monday, Sept. 7, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center. A native of Norfolk, Virginia, he retired from Phelps Dodge. Following retirement, he went to work at the Walmart Supercenter, where he worked as a greeter and stocked shelves. Services will be private.
