James Carroll Thomas, 83, of Cadiz, died Saturday, Feb. 1, at his home. Born in Hopkinsville, he was a U.S. Army veteran. He worked for Pennyrile Rural Electric, where he was a warehouse manager, for 34 years. He was also a cattle farmer, and he was a member of Donaldson Creek Baptist Church for 73 years. A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 7, at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Friday at Goodwin Funeral Home, Cadiz.
