Gladys Ann Shade Sivels, 82, of Hopkinsville, died Wednesday, May 10. She was employed with the Christian County Public School System as a teacher at Lacy Elementary School. She was a member of Virginia Street Baptist Church, where she played the piano and sang in the choir, and she co-founded Modernette Civic Club. The funeral will be at noon Wednesday, May 17, at Virginia Street Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday at Gamble Funeral Home.
